When I'm sad and want to die
None of you will wonder why
You'll just sit and watch me cry
You won't help
Or even glance
You run to the fields
To dance and prance

You'll do anything
To try and ignore
My sighs or worry
My spirit that's sore
You turn around
To hide from me
You run away
To enjoy glee
You turn your back on my despair
On my hopeless soul
You flee from me
Which is as good as
Fleeing from your destiny

What if I was strong?
What if I was smart?
What if I survived?
Would you love me?
Would you care for me?
Would you look at me?
I doubt it.
I'm not strong.
I'm not smart.
Why imagine that I am?
