Brownpaw's Training

*pads in with my apprentice and looks at Brownpaw* Ok. I'm going to show you a great move.


*pounces and just brushes past him, raking my sheathed claws down his side, and I land on my feet and look at him* Ok. You try it.



*braces*

*walks in*I wanted to see Brownpaw's training if i can?(Brownpaw is a she-cat Ravenpool)

(i knew she was a she......dang.) *purrs to Bluepaw* Of course. But shouldn't your mentor be training you?

um......i gotta go right now *dashes back to the camp*

Brownpaw shuddered as her mentor's claws raked her side. "Alright," she mewed nervously, "i'll try." She quickly ran at Ravenpool and unsheathed her claws as she ran. Brownpaw pushed herself off from her backlegs, springing her into the air. She let her claws pass through Ravenpool's fur and she landed on her paws delicately, looking at her. "Was that okay, Ravenpool?" she meowed.

*slithers in* I came to see how trainning is going.....*sits*

Brownpaw looked at Dapplestar. "Oh, hello, Dapplestar! Ravenpool is teaching me a cool move."

*walks in* I wanted to watch.There are no cats that need help at the moment.And Patchpaw,Blackpaw, and Silverpaw
haven't started there training yet.Can i watch?

ok *walks back to camp*

*nods to Brownpaw* Great! You're a fast learner. Now, try this.

*pounces in the air and looks at your shoulders but aims for your paws and knocks youy off balance, holding you down with one paw* Try that. *lets go and satands a little ways away, waiting*

Brownpaw swished her tail and leapt high into the air like Ravenpool showed her. She stared down at her, and landed, but not quite knocking her off balance. She sighed and tried again. She leapt into the air again, and when she landed, she knocked her off balanced and held her down with her small paw. "L- like that?" she mewed, trying not to think of how badly she might've done.

*smiles as I see the progress Brownpaw is making*

*purrs*

Now, if you come with me to the forest, I'll teach you how to hunt!


*purrs and stands at the edge of the clearing, facing the forest, and I flick my tail, waiting for you to follow*

Brownpaw's face lit up. She ran next to Ravenpool and her tail swished vigorously. "I've never hunted before," she murmured to herself aloud.
