*Laughs then gets up to my paws* Okay, Sage when you go to pin someone keep your back paws firmly onto them and even dig your front claws into their chest or keep your paws firmly onto their chest. The key to a good pin is to be firm. That way you protect your self better and you don't loose your balance as much. Try it again. *Smiles*

*Gets up and pushes Sage off* That was good. Don't forget to throw in some hisses and use your claws. Now, I'm going to have a turn. Try fight me, pretend I'm a rouge trying to take prey and kill everyone in the clan.

Re: SagePaw's Training!
LeopardStride looks at SagePaw, dives at him and pins him down. Yowls slightly and rakes my claws across Sage's muzzle.

*Jumps up from under Sage and clings onto a low tree branch, swings then aims for Sages back and lands on him*
*Smiles and gets off him, nodding at his fighting skills* Your a pretty good fighter. But.. Try to put for effort into it.

Much, but diving under a warriors legs wont help you for when you get bigger. *Gets back up and licks my fur*
Now do you know any battle moves?

Re: SagePaw's Training!
I know some of them, like.. The Back Kick is.. A very surprising battle move it gets you to catch you opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully; then lash out with your back legs, taking your weight on your front paws.
And the killing bite. But that's about it.

Re: SagePaw's Training!
You know never to use the killing bite unless its absolutely necessary?
Well, here are some more. Listen very carefully because i might ask you do perform these moves on me.
The Belly Rake.
Side with unsheathed claws across soft flesh of opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back in control.
Front Paw Attack.
Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed.

Re: SagePaw's Training!
And this one is very good for rat attacks or when you want to kill a rat, bird ect.
Scruff Shake.
Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponent's neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, which are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.

Re: SagePaw's Training!
Well first lets try hunt for a mouse.
You must be quiet and quick, you can't hesitate otherwise they will hear you and you will loose them.
You will have to creep low against the ground and stalk the prey quietly using a variety of different leaps to catch the prey.

Re: SagePaw's Training!
Okay! *Nods, listening very carefully* Dad? When is the best season to hunt in?

Re: SagePaw's Training!
Its easiest to hunt in Winter, the snow makes your footsteps quieter, its hardest in Fall when the dead leaves crackle.
*Stands up, flicking my tail towards the forest* Come along, we aren't going to find a rabbit or vole around here. *Starts running towards the forest* Come on slowy, try catch up with me! (Just stay here though, k?)
