hawkpaw: *moves out of the way*

The large tom smiled and lunged at you again, this time my claws out

hawkpaw: *i dodged his hit again*

"Fantastic" This time Leopard runs at you and quickly serapes my claws across your belly "Remember, speed is at your advantage if you're taking on a cat that's bigger than you!"

hawkpaw:*nods* ok ill remember that but whats your advantage if your the bigger cat? well other than being bigger?

"Being stronger i guess" Leopard smiled faintly as he flicked his ginger ears.

hawkpaw: oh ok! *smiles*

He nodded "Let's move onto, hunting. Show me your hunters crouch!"

hawkpaw: *gets low to the ground* *then stands back up* um was that good?

"Yep. Also try keep your tail parallel to the ground. Now pretend your hunting this leaf" Leopard pushes a leaf a few tail lenghs away for you.

hawkpaw: *i get very low to the ground* * my tail was down on the ground* * i moved quickly and quietly over to the leaf* *smaking me paw on top of it when im close enough*

"That was perfect! Great work. When your hunting for a bird you must keep very low to the ground, possbibly face towards the wind so it blows your scent away from the bird. Then keep very light on your paws" Leopard scents a small bird not far from here "Try hunt it"

hawkpaw: *gets low to the ground almost touching it and my tail was on the ground and moved swiftly towaard the bird then stopped the wind was blowing my scent away from the bird* * i got close to the bird and leaped on it crushing it with my paw*

"Fantastic Hawpaw! Your a very good hunter. The clan shall be very well fed with you as a warrior" he smiled again and pricked up his ears, he pointed his tail towards some bushes "There is a vole in there, they are slightly tricky to catch. The key is to be very quiet and rather quick"

hawkpaw: can you show me how to do it? *smiles a little*

"Sure" Leopard crouched low, his eyes slightly narrowed as he crept towards the large bush, his stomach almost touching the ground. His paws very light on the ground as he quickly poked his head from behind the bush, still smelling the vole, it stronger this time. He grinned and lunged at it quickly, diving right on top of it, Leopard clawed at the vole, and killed it before it could make a sound.

hawkpaw: good job

Leopard grinned "Thanks, now your turn. Your almost ready to have your warrior ceremony too, Hawkpaw"

hawkpaw: *smiles* ok *hears a vole and turns toward it gets low to the ground and runs silently toward it pouncing on it and kills it*

"Good work, Hawkpaw. I think its about time you go and get cleaned up for your ceremony!" LeopardStride smiled happily as he padded towards Hawkpaw. (Pm me the warrior name you want. Angel said you wanted Hawkfeather? You still want that name?)
